ESNA membranes by Hydranautics are designed using the latest technology and exhibit unparalleled performance at ultra-low pressures. Ideal for softening applications and removal of pesticides and pathogens, ESNA membranes provide 91%-99% salt rejection.
ESNA membranes also remove iron and TOC (Total Organic Carbon), while allowing passage of monovalent ions like sodium and chloride. This makes them the preferred choice for municipal potable water systems. Hydranautics advanced membrane technology and unique features of ESNA membranes help achieve significant savings in operation cost and energy. This makes them these membranes the preferred choice for municipal potable water systems.
ESNA4-LD’s selective separation capability using nanofiltration technology can be used to deliver high quality permeate water while removing specific contaminants such as nitrates and larger organic compounds from waters with low salinity.
Given this capability of ESNA4-LD, it finds its application in treating groundwaters used by farming communities where there is a need to remove nitrates which contaminate the water due to the use of fertilizers.
ESNA4-LD also finds its use in the treatment of waters containing sulfates found in the wastewaters from the mining industry. Regulations governing sulfate concentrations have become more stringent as mine planners and operators are required to develop sulfate management in their water management plans with minimal impact on drinking water resources.
ESNA4-LD membrane is available in 8-inch diameter sizes.
