Together with our customers we have designed, and are still developing, new tubes with enhanced characteristics to face these new challenges of cooling devices. Since the very beginning, automotive engines have been cooled by air-liquid systems. This is still state-of-the-art, but nowadays new applications, such as air-liquid charge air coolers and contact battery coolers increase the thermal burden on the main system with their indirect loops. Together with our customers we have designed, and are still developing, new tubes with enhanced characteristics to face these new challenges of cooling devices that are not located near the cooling air flow at the front of the vehicle. In addition to the traditional flat-oval tubes, in dozens of dimensions, we offer welded B-type-tubes and dimpled surfaces.
