Description

Rotary couplings for pneumatics transfer compressed air from a stationary to a rotating machine part. The mounting is made in the rotational axis of the component. For that, we offer versions with single, twin and four passages. The rotary couplings for pneumatics can be combined with electrical bushing by slip rings for 6, 12, 18 or 24 strands at 24 Vdc and 2A. Special features: made of high-strength aluminum (slip ring housing made of durable plastics) made of high-strength aluminum light weight pneumatics and electronics combinable with ball bearings standard designs and special designs available Mounting instruction: The rotary coupling has to be mounted in a way to not apply bending moment to the stationary or the rotating component. It has proven effective to screw the (rotating) rotary piston with the connections together with the pneumatic devices and to secure the standing housing only against twisting (do not initiate bearing forces). Mounting example: 1. pneumatic fixture 2. pipework 3. riggid screw fixing 4. hose pipe 5. distance 6. torque support Nominal diameter: 3 Operating pressure: pmax. 10 bar Operating temp.: from -10°C up to +60°C Passages: single-passage, twin-passage and four-passage (pneumatics) Torque: starting torque from 0,4 Nm up to 1,1 Nm Rotation speed: max. 60 1/min Ports: thread M5, radial within the housing, radial and axial within the piston Design: without and with electrical bushing
