Hylomar Exhaust Assembly Paste is a water based, heat curing product. It has been specifically designed for use with exhaust systems for automotive and other general applications. The exhaust paste formulation will withstand both pressure and temperatures typically found in vehicle exhaust systems. Hylomar Exhaust Assembly Paste lubricates joints to make assembly easier and faster. Typical Applications: For use as an exhaust assembly compound FEATURES Water based Heat curing Specifically designed for use in the assembly of exhaust systems for automotive and other general applications Asbestos free Withstand high temperature and pressure PRODUCT SIZES Pack Sizes - 140g tubes & 500g cartriges INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Ensure the surfaces to be joined are clean and free of loose rust, dirt and grease. Abrade the surface with medium emery paper. Spread the paste liberally to all joints in the system and assemble the joint immediately after application. Run the engine at low speed until warm and the paste will set to form a gas tight seal. CAUTION: Avoid running engines in confined spaces.
