Our rubber compensators are flexible pipe connectors with rotatable SAE or DIN flanges as well as pipe thread connections and are used for the absorption of vibrations (sound insulation) and expansion in axial and radial directions. Smooth on both the inside and outside our rubber compensator come with a double, high- strength underlay of fabric. The outer rubber is a neoprene caoutchouc and therefore extremely weather-resistant. It protects the inner pressure carrier from ageing, abrasion and corrosion. The inner rubber on the other hand is made from a nitrile caoutchouc (Perbunan). A vulcanised-on rubber bead serves as a seal for the pipe connectors. The beads with two sealing lips each and an inclined ridge provide optimal sealing, making further sealing unnecessary.
