Warm & cold presses are Customised systems of different design for the manufacture of green bodies for brake linings made from powdery and at the same time resin-impregnated friction lining materials. In contrast to the hot presses, however, only the shaping takes place here, which enables very short process times. A distinction is made between cold pressing (ambient temperature) and warm pressing (max. 100°C). The actual curing process is performed in a downstream oven in both methods. The pressing itself is done by Hydraulic presses in product-specific and heatable moulds. The various system types are based on the batch size on the one hand and on the flexibility requirements for the machine. Regardless of this, all of our systems enable a constant and reproducible product quality through their high degree of automation.
