Warm & cold presses are Customised systems of different design for the manufacture of green bodies for brake linings made from powdery and at the same time resin-impregnated friction lining materials. In contrast to the hot presses, however, only the shaping takes place here, which enables very short process times. A distinction is made between cold pressing (ambient temperature) and warm pressing (max. 100°C). The actual curing process is performed in a downstream oven in both methods. The pressing itself is done by Hydraulic presses in product-specific and heatable moulds. The various system types are based on the batch size on the one hand and on the flexibility requirements for the machine.
