Description

IBD Wickeltechnik Serie PMS shafts allow balancing of core tolerance by jaws. The jaws provide variable expansion. This feature makes the shafts ideal for applications running multiple rolls. Each jaw allows separate adjustment and balancing. This way, Serie PMS provide cyclical running and high running evenness. Serie PMS shafts deliver high web speeds, resulting in superior performance and cost-effectiveness. The IBD expanding shaft is available in several designs. It can be ordered to fit diameters 70/70-76,2/76/100/120/127/150-152,4, 200 mm. Further diameters are available on request. Air valves can be located either axially or radially or both. It provides dynamic balancing. Also available are custom journal designs to match specific equipment needs. Shaft body can be steel or aluminium. With this precision shaft we achieve a concentricity of 0.1 mm at the tensioned sleeve. Despite its precision, this shaft has a very rugged design and is suitable for large loads. This shaft can be equipped with various highquality pressure pieces and supplied, if needed, with a measuring scale and stop ring. Pneumo-mechanical clamping shafts from IBD Wickeltechnik are among the highest quality products in the industry and are rarely surpassed in accuracy. Advantages and application areas Dynamically balanced on request High concentricity Very precise clamping Ideal for very high speeds
