The M-ISB1 Trapped Key Control Isolation Switch with Box is the first part of a Trapped Key System and is usually on the control panel of the equipment. Available with 25A or 40A. (For 63A rating please see M-ISB2).
This is where the Isolator key in the Trapped Key System is placed and trapped – when the Isolator key is trapped in the ISB-1, then power is provided to the equipment.
When the key is turned the power to the equipment is removed.
The removed Isolator key can now be inserted in the next part of the Trapped Key System, i.e. Key Exchange Block or into a single component such as a Bolt Lock. Until the Isolator key is returned to the Isolator Switch power to the equipment cannot be restored.
Manufactured with die cast metal barrel with high mirror polished finish set into a polycarbonate housing.
