Description
IDS NXT malibu makes consumer technology, as known from action cameras, available to users in an AI-capable industrial camera. The combined expertise of IDS and Ambarella has created a new class of intelligent industrial cameras. At the same time, they fit seamlessly into the all-in-one AI vision system IDS NXT.
The models are designed as edge devices that carry out AI-based image evaluations themselves and can output the results, for example, as overlays in the live video stream.
For this, the image output is done via compressed video stream (RTSP), whereby the image quality is optimised by the integrated ISP. This benefits, for example, applications in which people are to be directly supported by AI-based image processing through visual evaluations of their environment.
