Description
The gasket comprises a corrugated stainless steel core (1.4571) with partial graphite layer on either side and stainless steel inner eyelet. The partial facing reduces the surface area of the gasket for greater unit load. The sealing system can be used in applications where low stress allowed. The non-faced metallic ring serves for centering the gasket in the flanges. The inner eyelet prevents the graphite layer from impacting the flow medium.
