V-12 multimeter is voltage digital indicator, for both DC and AC measuring from 0,2 V to 750 V. Designed to be installed on a 96x48mm panel.
5-digit visualisation
Power supply: 115 or 230 Vac
From 0,2 to 750 V
Visualisation
The displays show a value in a 5-digit format, from -1999 to 1999, being the first digit no higher than 1 and a fifth digit (always 0) for adjustment to the unit, can be added. If the value goes below -1999, -1 will be displayed and if it goes above 1999, 1 will be displayed.
By inserting a flat-headed screwdriver into the groove in the cover front you can lever it out. The display has 2 multi-turn potentiometers to adjust “0” (it can takes negative values and 0,
its function is to adjust 0 in 4-20mA signals or similar) and “span”. It has 4 switches for the visualisation of the comma and the fifth digit (0). 1, 2 and 3 switches turn on/off the comma at the different positions and the 4th turns on/off the 0 at the 5th digit.
Output
5 Vdc output for other aplications as position measuring by potentiometer, ohm meter or similar.
Measuring
V-12 Multimeter is factory adjusted to display 230 Vac between terminals 4 and 9.
The displays can read voltages from 0,2 V to 750 V. They have 5 voltage inputs for the different values of full scale: 0,2, 2, 20, 200 and 750 V. Connect the signal to the more close upper scale. On the back, next to the terminals, there is the selector to choose between
Vac or Vdc. At Vdc signals take care of the polarity connecting negative pole to terminal 4 (common).
It also has 2 current inputs for 20 mA and 5 A. These inputs are a shunt to GND that must connected to terminal 5 to read the drop voltage in the shunt.
