FoodPack 1440 is our entry level solution for the in-line tray sealer category. It is ultra-compact and easy to integrate with existing production environments. The large sealing area, available applications and ease of use make it particularly suitable for packaging ready meals, pasta, sliced meats and meat. Compact, chain and walking beam version Depending on the requirements of the material and the shape of your tray, ILPRA offers different types of feed within the sealing area. By means of motorised tapes, walking beam and chain: each configuration has its own particular characteristics in terms of versatility, speed and use. Total accessibility Every component of this model is easily accessible to the operating personnel, the cleaning process is also greatly facilitated. Servo activated jaws The handling of the trays within the sealing area is done by means of jaws. The unit is electronic and controlled by an inverter, allowing total manageability of parameters to handle a wide range of products, from soup to fresh meat. Unwinding-rewinding system with automatic reels This unit has the function of automatically positioning the correct amount of heat-sealing film, unwound from a reel, in the sealing area and rewinding the scraps after the sealing-cutting operation. The system is electronically driven and controlled by a special sensor that automatically maintains the correct tension as the diameter, reel weight and working speed vary. Both the unwinding and rewinding shafts are equipped with a pneumatic expansion system, which guarantees optimal clamping and allows the operator to carry out loading and unloading operations extremely quickly and without difficulty.
