The “Fly-knife” cut made by IMAC TECNOLOGIE consists of the skilful use of a Brushless motor that acts directly on an arm that carries the blade. In the wide range of blades available our technicians choose the most suitable for the type of material, its shape, consistency, temperature, speed, in order to always obtain a perfectly orthogonal cut and without “burrs”. Our cutting systems can be positioned: -directly in the extrusion line -or they can be fed by coils, coils or bars Our cutting systems are suitable for: -industrial environments and materials -medical environments and materials Our “Fly-Knife” cutting systems are suitable for cutting elastomers: -with hardness of 95 Shore A, -with a hardness of 70 Shore D after an appropriate preheating of the product. All our systems are Semi-custom and they cut plastic materials, sheaths, pipes and profiles like: PVC – PE – PP – PA12 – PC – ABS – PC / ABS – PS – NORYL – EVA – POM – POLYURETHANE PUR – THERMOPLASTIC RUBBER – PP / EPDM – SEBS – SILICONE, from different shapes.
