IME S.p.a. is happy to announce the introduction of several innovative modifications made on the BL360 motor range following the continuous product improvement philosophy, starting in Q2 of 2018. Thanks to additional investments, the motor and the inverter pcb casings will be manufactured with a new die casting process. There are numerous advantages. In addition to making a better looking and lighter product, this evolution will allow IME to increase production capacity and therefore grant shorter leadtimes. More importantly the design will have newer and more efficient cooling fins which will further improve the thermal dissipation of both motor and electronic board. A further advantage is the possibility to use an MIM o-ring in the shaft output to maintain IP65 class protection on the BL360 motor in any fan inclination angle. The new motor versions are also equipped with improved snap-on connectors with cable gland to guarantee the insulation protection. The 3-phase voltage supply range has been extended to include 200V up to 500V for additional flexibility in installations.
