Description

A range of high-quality mica grades, tailored to produce the results you need for your paints and coatings. For paints that will weather any storm If you need to improve crack and corrosion resistance while boosting chemical and weathering stability, we recommend the Suzorite 200-HK range of mica grades. It’s a water-insoluble, finely ground mica, which is a naturally occurring platy mineral. Using selected milling and delamination techniques, we tailor the properties of our mica grades to provide high levels of film reinforcement, better barrier properties, chemical and solvent resistance, cracking resistance and better UV resistance. The Suzorite 200-HK range of mica grades has excellent flexural and bridging characteristics, which contribute to crack resistance in coating applications. It’s suitable for a range of applications, including indoor and outdoor decorative coatings, metal primers and marine coatings, anti-corrosion and heat-resistant paints, intumescent paints, wood and floor paints, and traffic markings.
