Even being exposed to the fire, it never melts or emits the toxic gasses, so it can minimize the damages from suffocation in the fire accident. Non-combustible imgNF insulation board passed a full-scale of wall fire test of IBF in Germany, so in Europe, the fire bars are no longer needed for buildings where imgNF insulation Board is used. The key technology of incombustibility is our special coating liquid made with a few types of mineral powder, chemical extra, and water. All ingredients are mixed in the effector and fusion reaction takes place. After mixing normal EPS granules with the fire retarding liquid and going through drying process, EPS granules finally turn to thermosetting imgNF EPS beads having unique honeycomb structure to effectively block the fire spread without melting or emitting harmful gasses in fire.
