Robotic cells for belt sanding, belt grinding, polishing, scotching, burnishing, brushing deburring or milling of various work pieces.
Machine Characteristics
The robot cells are available in two different versions:
Tool guided processing
Work piece guided processing.
Tool guided processing:
The robot can be fitted with the following tools:
Belt unit
Polishing unit
Scotch unit.
Quick-change coupling for the fast changing of processing units (optional).
Replacement magazine for the intake of processing units.
Work piece guided processing:
The robot guides the work piece to the processing stations such as the grinding, polishing and scotch stations.
The amount of processing stations depends on the required processing steps and is thus individually adaptable.
Optionally, stations can be equipped with a pivoting device. This allows for the small and compact design of the complete cell.
Quick-change system for the changing of the robot’s work piece robot.
Loading and unloading:
Pallet system
Conveying system
Chain linking
Part identification (Vision Control System) for part recognition and automatic localization and program selection.
Application
The robot cells are specifically intended for the grinding and polishing of work piece surfaces.
Customer Benefits
Modular design, unit completely encased by dust guard cabin.
The flexible design allows the robot cells to be linked in a linear chain, thus producing a complete production line. The linking of cells provides short turnaround times.
Significantly reduced processing times compared to manual processing.
Precise and reproducible processing results.
