The Gamma type welding seam sander is available in two different versions:
As single belt head version and as dual belt head version.
Machine Characteristics
The single belt head version allows for the processing of welding seams on stainless steel bowls using a sanding belt grit.
The dual belt head allows for the use of two independent sander units with differing contact disk diameters (with respect to the bowl geometry). Alternatively, an automated processing sequence for pre-grind and final finish operations can be implemented through the use of two different abrasive grits with the two sander units.
The swivel mechanism allows for the processing of the welding seams in a longitudinal direction (optional).
For finish touch operations, an automatic oil spray feature is available (optional).
The machine is controlled via 3 interpolating CNC axes.
Work pieces are loaded and unloaded manually.
Application
The machine is specifically intended for the grinding of welding seams on stainless steel sinks. It grinds the transitional seam of the top surface to lie flush with the bowls edges.
Customer Benefits
An integrated oil spray feature ensures constant processing temperatures and increased belt service life of the sander.
Efficient suction system with pneumatic suspension feature, ban be programmed if desired.
Contact disk's contact pressure continuously programmable.
Cutting pace continuously programmable through frequency converters (10-30 m/s).
Long belt life through the use of endless grinding belts with a length of 3,500 mm.
Significantly reduced grinding time compared to manual processing.
Precise and reproducible material removal.
