Description

CAPACITY Up to 65.000 m3/year POWER CONSUMPTION ∼ 10 – 20 kWh/m3 In the EMC System (Mechanical Evaporation with Heat recovery) the evaporation is further enhanced by pre-heating the ambient air. Residual thermal energy from industrial processes can thus be reused to achieve greater independence from climate conditions. The system is modular and the number of evaporators is designed according to the discharge to be treated, the thermal energy available, and the local climate. It is an evaporative process based on the capacity of the ambient air to absorb water from an effluent. The evaporation capacity is enhanced by recovering residual heat and minimizing dependence on climate conditions (temperature and relative humidity). It is particularly recommended for making use of residual thermal energy. We have numerous references in the treatment of leachates and wastewater from the Chemical and Agri-food industries.
