Description

The tank is designed to operate under pressure and in vacuum. Product heating is provided by means of a heating jacket. The ingredients are introduced through the inlets at the top of the unit, manhole or through a valve at the bottom of the tank if the equipment operates in vacuum. High-speed agitation is used to homogenise liquids or to dissolve highly soluble solids. If the process requires an emulsion or a certain degree of shear, a cowler-type agitator or even a high shear mixer can be used. It is possible to control the agitator speed and temperature from the control panel. The units consist of a tank with the Ra ≤ 0,5 μm surface finish of all the parts in contact with the product, clamp connections, the main component is a vertical anchor type agitator with a three-blade propeller provided with a double mechanical seal. CXC range. Possible steam sterilisation of the tank and seal chamber. CIP cleanable design. Sight-glass with light and sampling cock. Bottom high shear mixer. Additional cowler agitator. Other sealing systems. Various instrumentation and automation levels for the system control. We provide: DESP97/23/CE conformity file and certificates of materials, surface roughness, etc.
