The SkidWeigh OL Overload Warning System provides operators of material handling equipment certainty about not overloading and compromising safety. Understanding that tipping and overloading are the number one reason for forklift accidents in North America, the SkidWeigh OL, provides instantly what percentage a load is compared to the rated capacity of the vehicle the system is mounted on. Before a load can be lifted and or moved into operation the operator has full understanding and confidence about the safety of that material handling process. The system can be easily installed in the hydraulic lift circuit of any material handling equipment regardless of voltage and does not alter the rated capacity requiring an accessory rating. Once installed, a simple setup process begins by lifting a known load against the weight of the empty forks or attachment. Once this is acknowledged the system software takes over and the OL overload warning system displays to the operator if the load is safe to lift with that vehicle as a percentage of rated capacity.
