The SkidFleet ED5 is IVDT’s most comprehensive on board vehicle management system. Designed to allow supervisors and stakeholders to have better understanding of the material handling process, the system provides information on productivity, safety and efficiency. The system utilizes a SkidWeigh lift truck scale and monitors productive vs. non-productive vehicle run time with customizable downtime reasons to provide opportunities to increase productivity. The ED5 also provides vehicle access control with operator certification scheduling and full electronic OSHA safety checks to provide the business with safety compliance. Completing the fleet management information suite the system also provides preventative maintenance scheduling as well as the Defender impact management system to reduce costs and protect assets. The SkidFleet ED5 utilizes an industrial touchscreen computer that interfaces with the operator and protects against operating environments. The system can be easily installed in the hydraulic lift circuit of any material handling equipment regardless of voltage and does not alter the rated capacity requiring an accessory rating. Once installed, an even simpler setup and calibration process begins that allows responsible managers the ability to integrate the system into the operation and subsequently the vehicle. The sustainability of the SkidFleet ED5 is perhaps most recognized in the simplicity of programing and operating as end users do not require on going service for calibration and or option setup.
