A palletiser that moves layers from the pattern forming table to the pallet on a sheet with centrers. It is designed for boxes whose shape or consistency means they can’t be safely moved by pressure clamps. This palletiser accommodates patterns with internal gaps, palletising boxes with lids and attached layers. How it works Boxes enter the pattern forming table through a chain conveyor with an included rotator. The layer of boxes is formed on this table. Once the layer is formed, it is transferred to the sheet by a pusher. The sheet can move vertically and horizontally, and the layer is transported on it to the palletising position. On arrival, the centrers close and the sheet metal is removed, lightly placing the layer. Features • Constructed with electrowelded steel tubing, sheet metal and platens. • Finished with epoxy, two-part polyurethane or zinc paint. • Vertical movement through 4 auto-tensioning chains guided by vulcanised wheels. • Horizontal movement by two drag chains guided by vulcanised wheels. • Pneumatic centrers guided by linear bearings. • Chain conveyor at the entry, with incorporated rotator. • Motorised transfer pusher to sheet metal with precision prismatic guides. • Control via a touch screen terminal. • Option to include centring frame for perfect box fitting and difficult-to-palletise formats. • Possibility to work with pallets lengthways or widthways upon request. • Automated pallet transport upon request.
