By the additional control of the pneumatic cylinder the spring force can be increased. For monitoring an initial or assembly movement, the base plate is extended, for monitoring a removal operation it is retracted (only with optional screwed piston rod). For fast movements, the cylinder should also be pressurized to block the unit against uncontrolled deflection. An optional sensor detects the movement of the plate.
