The standard MVM grinding machines are ideal for sharpening planer knives. They are supplied with a mechanical clamping system for the simultaneous grinding of four planer knives on the mechanical clamping chuck with T-slot. With the swiveling magnetic plate for carbide-tipped workpieces, this grinding machine is ideally suited for sharpening chipper knives, granulator knives for plastics, planer knives, profiled carbide-tipped indexable inserts and disposable planer knives such as Tersa knives (with the appropriate optional clamping device). This MVM is available in three versions with a grinding length of 1000 mm, 1350 mm and 1750 mm. The PX grinding machine has an automatic working cycle programmable by a PLC, motorized downfeed of the grinding wheel and spark-out cycle at the end of grinding cycle. The grinding machine for long knifes MX 150 is available in five versions with a usable grinding length of 1000 mm, 1500 mm, 2000 mm, 3000 mm or 4500 mm. It is ideally suited for knives of all kinds such as paper knives, veneer and peeling knives, and wood chipping knives.
