SLS is an ingenious protection system for armoured doors fitted with the 668G/GF series of gear locks with European profile cylinders. If the cylinder is removed by force while the door is closed and the bolts are locked in the extended position (break-in attempt), the Self Locking System is activated automatically, preventing the attempted break-in and locking the door irreversibly. Technical Features The SLS is non-handed, therefore it is field reversible. If the system is accidentally activated, it is possible to reset SLS, but this procedure may only be performed by an expert technician, so you should contact the door manufacturer. Once the SLS has been activated, the deadbolt pistons remain locked in the extended position, as do the high/low sliders of the lock (to which all the other supplementary locks are connected), leaving the door locked and closed.
