Friction ring

Clutch discs only made of friction material are used in a wide range of industrial applications such as mechanical presses, shearing machines or torque converters. In such cases clutch facing hasn’t any metal back-plate as it couples directly on the rotating organ by means of an outside gear cutting. Friction coefficient, wear resistance and a high mechanical strength are required in order to withstand high mechanical torques. Our friction material ISI361 especially designed for such aim is able to ensure a superior mechanical strength on the teeth even in extreme conditions.
