Double-Sided Butyls are sealing tapes consisting of a butyl rubber adhesive compound.
The compounds available are:
• T1520: hard cohesion;
• BK: aggressive tack for porous surfaces:
• T1292: high internal cohesion.
Good shape stability and mechanical features;
Highly soft and adaptable;
Cold applied;
Instantly, highly and permanently adhesive;
Vapour and waterproof self-sealing;
Excellent heat stability;
Self-amalgamating;
No oil migration;
Solvent-free.
Uses
These tapes are an excellent joint and fixation element for glass, steel, Plexiglas, polycarbonate, wood, aluminium, PVC and most other common materials.
These tapes have been designed to connect flexibly sheets or panels not subjected to mechanical constraints.
