Batch barrel blasting machines allow to process medium-small pieces in bulk. A skip loader (hydraulically operated) allows to automatically charge the pieces. The belt has a special U shape to collect the pieces and allows the mixing during its rotation. For shotblasting machines with small load volume, it is possible to have a closed loop rubber belt with mixing stripes (GBG model); for high load volumes, the belt is made by a series of steel bars (GBM model). The turbines are allocated on the roof of the cabin and the blasting streams go directly onto the pieces. Once the blasting cycle is finished, the belt continues to rotate to empty the pieces from the grit. Then the belt reverses the direction of rotation and the pieces are unloaded from the belt to a discharging conveyor (or a vibrating conveyor). Different loading and unloading systems are possible according customer’s needs.
