Batch barrel machines type ABG – PBG are designed to treat bulky parts (in tumbling movement) with mineral shots. Both pressure and Venturi technologies can be applied. The shotblasting machine is equipped with a rubber belt (complete with mixed stripes to help the tilting effect of the parts) that permit the continuous movement of the parts. The nozzles are placed on the top of the chamber and they are driven by an oscillating device along the entire width of the chamber. The number of nozzles is defined according the loading volume, the production rate and the geometry of the parts. This machine is usefully for manual loading/unloading operation but it can be also equipped with an automatic handling device according the process line request.
