Spray nozzles in accordance to EN 60529 for IPX3 / IPX4 testing Purpose and task The following described nozzles allow a DIN conform testing of "electrical equipment inside a case" against the effects of water ingress. The nozzles are in accordance to DIN 60529 It can be performed the following tests of protection: IP X3 = spraying water IP X4 = splashing of water Construction: - The shower head has an outer diameter of 102 mm. - The concavity of the shower head has a radius of 75,5mm - There are 121 holes in the shower head with a diameter of 0,5 mm. - The shower head is produced in 2 parts - Because of this construction it is possible to clean the shower head easily. - There are 24 holes in the internal circle of which the included angle is 30° - There are 96 holes in the external circle of which the included angle is 15° - There is a baffle before the shower head - The baffle is removable. - The IPX3 test is with the baffle while the IPX4 test is without the baffle - A Valve for water flow regulation and shut off is installed - A flow meter for the detection of water volume (0-20l/min) is installed - Hose connection at the spray nozzle suitable for the supplied hose - 5 m pressure hose belong to the scope of delivery Installation requirements at the customer - Water Connection (3 bar flow pressure / water flow > 30l/min)
