The QLC-KTUL power-operated chuck was specially developed for the production of tubular or pot-shaped workpieces at high speeds and low clamping forces. The feed weight (and thus the mass moment of inertia) has been reduced to a minimum.
Due to the weight-reduced design, less starting and braking energy is required and at the same time the spindle front bearing is spared. Double centrifugal force compensation ensures low clamping force loss even at higher speeds.
