Description

Long Stroke Wedge Style Power Chuck With Centrifugal Force Compensation The Forkardt QLC-LS power chuck is designed to provide up to 95% more clamping stroke for workpieces with variations in diameter. The QLC-LS is especially suited for machining of a large range of workpiece diameters and parts with difficult geometry such as step over clamping. The QLC-LS is available in 2 or 3 jaw style and sizes range from 160 mm to 315 mm. Using different type of base-jaw to equipe QLC to your speciale application. Large range of different diameter parts Parts with difficult geometry A 95% longer clamping stroke for parts with large variances in diameter Comprehensive clamping of parts with difficult geometry 2 and 3 jaw design Basic jaw profile, large guide length for internal and external clamping Very low lubricant loss, no undercuts Nitrided, extremely robust chuck body Selected material pairings – all force-transmitting parts hardened Long maintenance intervals Centrifugal force compensation for highest speeds (QLC version) Extended baking stroke Less wear of the spindle bearing Optimum transfer of clamping forces due to multiple jaw guides Greater productivity through long maintenance intervals Delicate, deformation-free clamping of thin-walled parts Long lifetime
