The power chuck FNC + is the next generation of the evaluated FNC with quick-change jaw system. To meet the increased requirements of modern production, we have retained the concept of the FNC series but improved in some points. Enlarged bore It’s not easy to get the balancing act between a large through-hole, small collision risk and the longest possible jaw guideway. The FNC + has now met all these criteria. We enlarge the holes, the weight reduction on the chuck body enables collision-free access to the workpiece and the slightly enlarged chuck body enables optimal jaw guideway over a large diameter range. Higher rigidity of the clamping device The rigidity of the clamping device has been increased significantly by mounting it with six instead of the previous three screws. Optimal lubrication Improved central lubrication via three grease nipples extends the lifetime cycle of the chuck and ensures consistently high clamping force. Weight reduction A weight-reduced structure of the chuck body reduces the mass moment of inertia and you save time and energy when accelerating and stop the machine spindle. Clamping jaws (straight and helical teeth) The jaw sets used are 100% compatible with the existing jaw sets of the type F and Fplus manual chucks that have been tried and tested for decades. In addition, we have expanded the FNC + series to include a straight-toothed variant. This makes it easier to switch from other models.
