Two-jaw chucks are mainly used for machining irregularly shaped workpieces and are therefore equipped with mould jaws in most cases. In the case of fittings or similar workpieces, it is very often necessary to clamp over projections or to enclose spherical parts as far as possible.
This requires a relatively large jaw way.
The jaw guide and all moving inner parts of the chuck are made of high-quality steel and hardened to achieve a long service life. How
with three-jaw chucks, the top jaws accommodated in a pointed toothing can also be easily moved or replaced with the 2BLN. On the chuck body
segments are excluded for weight reduction.
The chuck is equipped with base jaw lubrication. As a rule, the top jaws are manufactured as special jaws which exactly match the shape of the workpiece.
