Description

Innovative adhesion promoter to be used as an additive in the painting cycles of AAS, ABS, PUR, PC and PP plastics. It transforms a classic paint product, be it a finish or a primer, into a product with direct application on plastic, without the use of primers. When diluted it can also be used as a primer. Before starting the treatment, always wash the surface with soap and water, then degrease with an antistatic water degreaser H2S.0003. USE AS AN ADDITIVE: Add 15-20% of the additive to the finished product, replacing a portion of thinner to the percentage shown in the data sheet. The additive may be used on all of the following products: - FILLERS KFL.(6666; 7777; 8888) or KFL.(3010; 3070) - BINDER 2K: KJO.0200; KJL.0333; KJL.0330 - BINDER 1K: KJN.1777; KJN.1765 Example: the opaque base provides an 80% dilution, in case you want to apply it directly on plastic you replace a 20% of thinner with the additive, then we will have: USE AS A PRIMER: Dilute 1:3 with one of the IVAT RDL series thinners (L666; S777; F888; P333) to obtain a plastic primer. Apply as it is directly on the plastic backing previously degreased. Let it wither for 15-20 minutes and apply the finish. It can be overpainted with any type of single- and two-component product. WARNING FOR APPLICATIONS ON PP Before painting the supports in polypropylene (PP) we recommend a light sanding or bufing of the support.
