Extremely high life contactless rotary differential transformers that are ideal when duty cycle is high and where the transmission of an AC signal is a requirement. For use in applications where a variety of output characteristics are necessary. Suitable for crane applications where a slightly higher or lower reference voltage may be needed. Overview • Small space requirement. • Direct coupling to master switch with easy adjustments for providing offsets in output. • A proportionally smaller output voltage change is provided from 0° to 20° rotation, increasing safety during initial movement, and allowing more operator control at slow speeds. • Primary and secondary coils are epoxy encapsulated separately for electrical and environmental integrity. Since the principle of the design is magnetic, there is no physical contact of components that could wear, allowing longer operating life. A variety of output characteristics can be obtained, making it particularly suitable for crane applications where a slightly higher or lower reference voltage may be needed for some operations.
