Description

Basic TRICAT Two metal mesh sleeves enclose a rectangular or round-section elastomer core. Watertight TRICAT A TRICAT, specially studied for watertightness, ensures the electric continuity of wires. TRICAT with a flange The outer mesh sleeve forms a flange which enables bonding onto a flat surface. Double TRICAT The onter metal mesh sleeve encloses 2 parallel gaskets. The middle section forms the bonding surface. Silicones : Their mechanical performances are remarkably stable at low and high temperatures. Excellent resistance to oxidation and to atmospheric agents and to ozone. Very good chemical resistance to acids, diluted salts and oils with a high aniline point. Note : for hydrocarbon environments only fluoro silicones are suitable. Temperature tolerance : -55 to +200°C. Polychloroprenes : Their average ratio of resilience enables polychloroprenes to be used in most TRICAT products. Tolerance to pollutants and harsh environment all conditions : excellent. Temperature tolerance : -45 to +75°C Mechanical resistance : (tearing, abrasion) : excellent. Chemical resistance (acids, mineral oils, grease) : excellent. Polyurethanes : Very tolerant to stress, polyurethanes also offer excellent resistance to chemical products. They also have no retention and very low resilience. Temperature tolerance : -45 to +120°C.
