This shielding sleeve is intended for the electromagnetic protection of round cables, in bundles or beams, and the transmission low-level signals in a high-interference environment. For use in R & D laboratories and test areas, this sleeve is fitted with a velcro system. It is therefore possible to open and close the CABSIL sleeve whenever modification of the cabling is required. Opening and closing the sleeve does not require any special tools. When used for permanent installations, the sleeve is threaded onto the cables and the PVC covering is heat-shrunk around the cable. An earth braid can be included in the assembly. CABSIL is mainly used for screening connections between communications racks, for automatic control devices such as programmers and timers, and for HF welding… An earth connection is usually required at each end of the cable.
