The JSO15 TR offers an unrivaled frequency stability of the 32.768 kHz clock down to +/- 5 ppm in the temperature range of -40 ° C ~ + 85 ° C. This excellent frequency stability is achieved by precise temperature compensation during the manufacturing process. This 32.768 kHz TCXO is particularly insensitive towards supply voltage variations.
Active Rail-to-rail output:
Because of its LVCMOS-compatible active output and its rail-to-rail voltage swing, the JSO15 TR is able to supply multiple circuits simultaneously with a stable 32.768 kHz clock signal, while keeping the power consumption at less than 1.2 µA (operating voltage is usually 1.8V without load). The low current consumption allows the enabling efficient use of this highly stable oscillator. It is also possible to feed XIN inputs of circuits that are normally connected with tuning fork crystals.
Variable power supply at high frequency stability:
The JSO15 TR can be supplied with a variable supply voltage of 1.5 V ~ 3.63 V, while the resulting frequency variation is within the limits of +/- 1.5ppm.
Versatile application areas:
Due to its outstanding properties, the JSO15 TR is well-suited for highly accurate real-time clock applications, such as in mobile medical devices, health, and wellness monitors. Its low power consumption allows the enables use in wearables, smartwatches, and activity trackers, where a long operating time is a key feature. Thanks to their excellent temperature stability the JSO15 TR is the perfect choice for smart meters which are exposed to strong temperature variations if being mounted outdoor.
