Description
JIC 4201-HT demonstrates the broad range of chemical and temperature resistance of the
mica or vermiculite mineral.
JIC 4201-HT is extremely versatile, fire safe, and not susceptible to oxidation.
JIC 4201-HT is reinforced with 0.004”, 316 stainless steel tanged core.
JIC 4201-HT chemical compatibility exceeds that of graphite and will successfully seal up
to 1800℉(982℃).
Application
Ideal for use in combustion engine exhaust, nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing, steam and
other applications.
Unlike graphite, JIC 4201-HT resistance to galvanic corrosion will make it an excellent
candidate for seawater and offshore cooling applications.
Maximum Service Temperature : 1800℉ (982℃)
Maximum Tested Pressure : 0.5 MPa (5 kgf/㎠)
Maximum Size : 1000(mm) × 1200(mm)
Thickness Range : 1.5mm(1/16”), 3.0mm(1/8”)
