The Double Beam Spectrophotometer is ideally designed to provide an excellent quality performance and functionality. It represents the first double beam spectrophotometer with a variable spectral bandwidth into the Jenway range. The optics and detectors has the ability to measure the sample and reference optimizing a measurement precision. The 6850 is mainly constructed with several measurement modes for photometrics, concentration, multi-wavelength, spectrum scanning, kinetics, quantitation and more. The Prism PC software is characterized as standard device which provides an additional functionality with preloaded techniques meant for DNA/RNA and protein analysis, post-measurement tools, unlimited results saving and easy export of data. The spectrophotometer is also suitable to be used for quality control, general research, pharmaceutical, biochemical and other related applications.
