Description
Planishers remove weld build up without the use of abrasives. The weld is flattened into the parent material by a high pressure cold rolling action. A powered upper carriage moves the planishing roll along the length of the part which is supported by a mandrel. This planisher allows for smaller diameter parts to be planished since both ends of the mandrel are supported. The RG3 planisher is for longitudinal planishing of automated GTAW and PAW welds.
