Description

YEJ series brake motor is a totally enclosed self-cooling squirrel cage type three-phase asynchronous motor with additional disc type dc brake.lt features quick braking,simple structure,high reliability and strong versatility etc.ln addition,the brake has manual release mechanical,and is used extensively in mechanical machines and transmission units where quick stop and accurate positioning is required. Principle and structure:DS disc brake of the brake motor is mounted on the cover at nonextension end of the motor shafe.When brake motor is switched on,brake also works simultaneously.Due to electromagnetic suction,electromagnet attracts armature and compresses spring,brake disc is released from armature end cover,and motor starts to run.When power supply is cut off,brake electromagnet loses magnetc attraction,spring pushes armature to press brake discunder the action of frictional moment,motor stops. Power supply of brake is fed by rectifier in motor junction box.AC220V-DC90V for up to 3Kw,and AC380V-DC170V for over 4Kw.
