PC-1224KY is optimal to perform all kinds of wood-working option, including engraving of cylindrical work-pieces. With a gantry design, it offers X and Y axes span of 1200 and 2400 mm, respectively, Z axis span of 300 mm, and an additional rotary axis covering a perimeter of less than 200 mm. The HIWIN linear guide-ways installed along the three axes provides high precision, efficiency, and durability, along with low friction. The X and Y axes control is delivered using rack and pinion mechanism and the Z axis control is achieved using a high-precision ball-screw actuator imported from Germany, which affords resolution as low as 0.02 mm. The controller is accessible using both joystick, which provides even offline control, and a dedicated PC complete with DSP and USB features. Above all, the welded seamless steel construction lends excellent stability to the entire setup.
