System Description Pipeline Bitumen Butyl Anti Corrosion Wrap Tape is a cold applied tape used for the corrosion protection of oil ,gas ,and water underground or overhead steel pipeline and waterproofing for the roof, tank ,culverts etc. It is also called polyethylene anti-corrosion asphalt tape. The XUNDA liquid adhesive can be used as primer for this tape. The liquid adhesive represent an anti corrosion layer and provide a uniformly smooth contact surface to promote high adhesion of the polyethylene anti-corrosion bitumen tape to the pipe . Product Composition The composition of the pipe wrap tape - polyethylene bitumen tape (asphalt tape) consists of three layers, asphalt butyl adhesive layer and film backing, interleaving Adhesive : Bituminous butyl compound Film Backing: Special blend of stabilized polyethylene Interleaving: Silicone coated separator sheet Product Features Easy to apply by hand.
