Construction The JFA-Guidance system consists of air-beared slides, guiding at the precision faces of dove tail rails of natural hardstone - granite. The slide can be moved wearless and nearly frictionless. The achievable operation accuracy is essentially determinated by the precision of guiding rails. E.g. accuracy of path of 0,001 / 1000 mm. Applications The JFA-guidance system offers multiple possibilities of application. >Measuring instrument - as guidance base of high-precise measurements of straightness and lengths. >Machining centre - as high-precise linear motion slide. For horizontal and vertical applications. Prepared for adaption of a length measuring system and motor drive. Belt drives are recommended for short ways of path. They can be easily realized. The achievable running speed depends on the coupling forces. Technical data >Accuracy of path complying to the precision of the particular mounting surface and the surrounding conditions where the system is installed, e.g. better than 0,001 / 1000 mm. >Installation of the dove tail rails by screwing them on technical granite parts >Length of rails as required, single- or multi-parted >Operation with fine-filtered compressed-air, free of oil and water. Required operation pressure: 6 bar.
