Description

The MAG(A) Ex incremental or absolute magnetic encoders have explosion protection according to ATEX: Gas (Zone 2, Ex II 3G Ex nC IIC T4 Gc). They are suitable for use in the most difficult conditions and for mounting situations where space is limited. The magnetic encoders are wear-free and insensitive to external magnetic fields as well as condensation and liquids (operation in media possible). They have a protective bandage made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). The absolute magnetic encoders MAGA Ex provide position values in SSI format with a resolution of up to 16 bits (singleturn). The incremental magnetic encoders MAG Ex provide output signals in HTL or TTL format with up to 65.536 ppr.
