Description

Robust optical rotary encoders with a wide variety of signal and device options Suitable for larger shaft diameters Options: speed switch, fiber optic transmitter, up to 2 attachments Description The optical rotary encoders FGH 6 with a through hollow shaft up to Ø 50 mm are ideally suited for speed measurement and speed monitoring under extreme ambient conditions. They are ideal for mounting locations with restricted space or with larger shaft eccentricity. The incremental encoders are attached directly onto the application shaft or to the application shaft by using a suitable adapter flange. With a large number of options and attachments available the optical rotary encoders are flexible in use. Reliable The optical rotary encoders of the FGH 6 series have a long service life and offer a very high level of reliability – even under extreme ambient conditions. Extremely robust, thick-walled housing Large bearings with high dynamic load rating High shock and vibration resistance Saltwater-proof, wet areas in rolling mills Compensation of large axial shaft movement Tailor-made The optical rotary encoders of the FGH 6 series offer a wide variety of device and signal options and can be supplemented by attaching further encoders. Second signal output (incremental) FOC output (optional) Speed switch (optional) Safe The modern electronics of the optical rotary encoders are characterized by electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). It is embedded in an extremely robust, thick-walled housing. Up to 5000 pulses HTL / TTL EMC cable glands Options: direction of rotation / standstill detection, isolated adapter flange
